Christmas
We celebrated the festive season in a variety of ways offering young and old the chance to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas.
On Saturday 18th December over 100 people gathered for carols outside Marie's Store on the corner of Cunnington Street and Antrobus Road. To keep warm, we served tea & mince pies outside the shop.
A big number also gathered at our Family Nativity Service on Sunday 19th December in the afternoon. The service consisted of traditional carols and the children of the church acting out the first Christmas story. Chaotic it was but nonetheless special for regulars and visitors alike!
Acton Green's Community Carol Service took place on the Friday before Christmas. This candlelit event included favourite carols as well as a performance from the newly formed Acton Green Community Choir.
On Christmas Day we celebrated the birth of Christ in style with a mix of carols, readings, video clips and reflections.
