Welcome to all Visitors

Who are we?

Our church comprises a wide range of different people, of different ages and backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome at Acton Green Church. Our main weekly service takes place on a Sunday at 10.30am.

When you arrive:

If you are driving you'll be pleased to hear there are no parking restrictions in the streets around the church at the weekend. For directions and a map, click here. Arrive a few minutes early and you'll have time for a cup of tea or coffee before we begin.

What to wear:

This is easy – wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you’re not.

What to expect:

Visiting a church for the first time can be a bit daunting so here's what to expect. The service begins with a time of worship which is easy to join in with as all the words are projected onto a screen at the front. Hymn books are a thing of the past! After a few notices and a short presentation aimed at the children, the adults have a talk based around the Bible while Children's Church gets underway in the rooms next door. The service will be over by about 11.45am at which point tea & coffee is available.

Special services:

Once a month we share bread & wine as the service concludes and once a month the children stay in with the adults for our All-Age Caféchurch.

Is it just Sundays?

Absolutely not! We offer a range of activities throughout the week designed to help you bring God into your everyday life. Check out the Children and What's On pages for more details.

For those with disabilities:

We aim to be an all-inclusive church. We now have a fully kitted out disabled toilet and a ramp at the entrance to the building. A loop system is fitted for the hearing impaired.
